The International TESOL program provides students with a comprehensive methodology for teaching English as a Foreign Language, as well as giving them hands-on teaching practice. Students gain a thorough understanding of EFL/ESL teaching techniques and a sound knowledge of the communicative approach to teaching reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills to ESL learners. Placement in level 4 (High Intermediate) or above is required to take this course, which offers a total of 20 hours per week of instruction.
|Minimum age of 18. No more than 15 students per class. Must score at an advanced level on the placement test or graduated from level 5 in Intensive program at Internexus San Diego. Must have completed high school or equivalent of a GED.
*All applicants not currently enrolled or have reached level 5 at Internexus San Diego will need to be assessed before being accepted into the International TESOL Program must take our Institutional TOEFL Test and have a score of 450 PBT.
Classes are on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays: 9am to 3pm (12 weeks)

TOEFL iBT preparation course is specially designed to meet the basic needs of students in preparation for taking the actual TOEFL iBT exam. As a requirement for entrance an institution of higher education. Specifically, the course provides students with test taking strategies and a thorough understanding and application of language skills namely reading, writing, speaking and listening to TOEFL iBT exam. Supplementary activities for the course include lectures on grammar, sentence structure and construction, academic vocabulary, idiomatic expressions, pronunciation and intonation, as well as lessons on paraphrasing and summarizing. Through said supplements the course will get students to explore various ways of enhancing their overall English skills necessary for taking the actual TOEFL iBT exam.
The learners for this course will be given instructions, practice and advice on strategies for optimum performance on the TOEFL iBT. This course will give the learners the overview of the test, information on the test course, and introduction to the on screen appearance of the TOEFL iBT along with general test taking suggestions. The course will also provide in depth discussions of the kinds of questions that appear in each part of the TOEFL iBT and explanation of correct answers that are being asked in each section. The course will provide two full-length actual TOEFL iBT tests that will give the learners and estimate of how they would perform on the actual exam and familiarize the learners of the appearance, length and format of the TOEFL iBT.
TOEFL preparation presents question and answers about the TOEFL iBT exam and discusses what it is like to take a standardized test.
Morning TOEFL Classes are on Tuesdays & Thursdays: 9am to 6pm (12 weeks) 2 days per week.
Night TOEFL Classes are on Night TOEFL Class Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays
4pm to 10:15pm (12 Weeks) 3 days per week.

The Intensive English program offers classes focused on speaking, listening, reading, writing, and grammar. Each class is taught by extremely experienced teachers. The average class size is between 8 and 10 students. The maximum class size is 15 students with a minimum age requirement of 16. Activities are scheduled each week and include “Living Language Labs,” sightseeing trips, entertainment, and volunteer activities. A new session starts every four weeks, so you can register any time of the year. Classes are from Monday to Friday, for a total of 20 hours a week. Student Visa: Required.
*Morning Classes are from 9:00am to 12:50pm Monday through Friday
*Evening Classes are from 5:30pm to 10:10pm Monday through Thursday
Students who participate in the Special Intensive program may also join an Academic (TOEFL), Business, or Culture class, in addition to the Intensive classes. Contact your center to get more information about the classes they offer at: firstname.lastname@example.org

Learn about the U. S. naturalization application process and practice English needed for the interview. Study for the history and government test (100 Questions) and practice for the English reading and writing test. Improve English listening and speaking skills. Faculty suggest taking a citizenship class before sending a naturalization application. The waiting time for an interview may be very short.
